Director, Playwright, Arts Administrator
Elizabeth is a director, writer, occasional performer and arts administrator based in Chicago. Originally hailing from small-town Texas, she recently received an MFA in stage directing from The Lir Academy at Trinity College, the Irish National Academy of Dramatic Art.
Chicago companies she has worked with as a director include Strawdog Theatre, Babes with Blades, Wildclaw and Red Theater Chicago, where she is also a company member. Her adaptation of the noir film DOA, which she also directed, won the 2016 Non-Equity Jeff Award for Best Adaptation. As an arts administrator, Elizabeth has worked with Theater Wit and The House Theatre of Chicago.
